How do varicose veins develop and what can be done about them?

Heart pumps the blood into the tissues in vessels a.k.a. ‘arteries’, then the blood returns to the heart through vessels a.k.a. ‘veins’. In the veins, there are valves which make sure that the blood is following in the right direction towards the heart. Unfortunately, at times, the valves in the veins can fail (commonly in the legs) which makes the blood to be collected here. When the blood gets collected in this way, the vein will either enlarge or will get distorted. These are referred to, in scientific terms, as ‘varicose veins’ and can be very uncomfortable for the person who has them.

People who have varicose veins are therefore looking for varicose veins natural treatment so that they can prevent themselves from eczema, discoloration of the skin and in some cases, ulcer in the leg. There are some natural treatments for varicose veins; you can go with the compound aescin, which helps in strengthening the vein walls to prevent any further damage to the veins. Aescin is taken from horse chestnut and has been used as a natural remedy to treat problems related to the veins. It’s better to get a treatment when you discover varicose veins in your legs so that you can improve the flow of blood in your veins and prevent yourself from skin conditions in your leg which make you feel uncomfortable.
